AXIS Froth is the perfect balance of performance, initial lift and ease of riding: a stable platform that packs a lot of volume into a short length to reduce swing weight and increase fun while SUPing or wingfoiling . With our newest Froth we've made some major design changes, reflecting the movement towards a taller, lower drag foil design that requires more speed for launch. We eliminated the angled chisel on the tail. This increases the length of the gliding surface to add sub-foiling speed potential. We've also reduced the bevel of the track, so it now fades out completely before the tail, adding more width to the gliding surface and straightening the water flow for even faster acceleration up to foiling speed. We also notice the drawn tip with a rounded contour, to reduce the chances of catching in rougher waters, compared to the more squared tip of 2021. Here too we have increased the thickness and volume, to maintain a balance in buoyancy that gives you stability when are you on your knees or do you stand up to move forward. A new concave bridge gives your feet and toes better leverage when initiating turns, while you feel safe and secure in a straight line when riding without straps. Our unique tail pad design ensures that water captured in the concave flows freely out the back.
